Men and women of India have been fashion conscious since the
time of Harappa and Mohonjo-Daro. Before
the independence, Indian fashion was affected by globalization. This leads to a
new era in the Indian fashion industry. There are many factors that helped a
lot in the evolution of the Indian fashion industry. The important factors are
beauty shows, cultural diversity, bollywood, liberalization, Indian designers.
Because of the globalization, Indian fashion clothing has been evolving at a
constant pace. Today, fashion is more cosmopolitan in India.
